Further to our news release of August 17, 2006, the Company is pleased to report the completion of the sonic drilling program and a comprehensive work program on the Swamp Point North-Portland Canal aggregate deposit.
In addition to the 10-hole (approximately 400 metre) drill program, a seismic refraction and property survey was also performed, as well as extensive road building for easy access. A permanent camp for year round work and temporary docking facility has been set up for float plane access.
Core logging will commence off site at our storage facility in Terrace for further testing and composition evaluation.
