The Company is pleased to announce that Micon International Ltd. has been commissioned to assist in obtaining the Environmental Assessment Certificate for its’ Swamp Point North Aggregate Project.
The scope of work will be divided into two phases:
Phase 1:
Scoping; includes defining the project, identifying and meeting
with key consultants and agencies to determine the required environmental assessment
route and to determine whether and how the project can be fast tracked. This
phase will conclude with a letter report that will present results from the
initial scoping and a strategy for completing the environmental assessment process;
and conducting the associated First Nations participation as key to developing
any mining project in British Columbia.
Phase 2:
Implementation; includes coordinating the project in an effective
and efficient manner to ensure that all permitting requirements are met, to
move the project as quickly as possible through the environmental assessment
process. Micon is familiar with the various consultants and can help identify
and coordinate the necessary work.
