Highbank Resources Ltd. (“TSX.V – HBK”) reports further to our June 20,2007 news release. Fieldwork continues on the Portland Canal Aggregates Project in preparation of the application for an Environmental Assessment Certificate under the provincial environmental assessment review process. Once approved, this leads to the issuance of an Operating Permit for this sand, gravel, and aggregates deposit.
Associated Geosciences Ltd. of Calgary, Alberta is preparing a NI 43-101 Technical Report on the property’s mineable sand and gravel resource. The report will verify drilling results and determine the optimal mine layout for preparation of a formal Mine Plan.
A remote sensing meteorological station and continuous hydrology recorders
have been installed on site by Water Management Consultants of Richmond, B.C.
to permit ongoing compilation of weather and surface water databases.
Avian studies, followed by wildlife and terrestrial ecosystem mapping have been
completed by Gartner Lee Limited of Smithers, B.C.
Micon International arranged for G3 Consulting Ltd. to conduct further submarine investigation of the proposed sand and gravel load out site, water quality studies, fisheries studies and selected bathymetry. This fieldwork has also been completed and will assist in the planning of the load out structure and offshore mooring points, preparation of bathymetric maps and both freshwater and marine reports.

On September 29-30 (Munich) and October 2-3, 2007 (Frankfurt), management will
be attending two investment exhibition and trade shows in Germany to profile
the Company as per our associated Frankfurt listing.
